Itinerary in details:

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Arrival at Cairo airport, assistance during entry visa formalities. Transfer and overnight in the hotel in Cairo.

Day 2: Cairo

Transfer to the old christian district of Cairo. Visit of the Coptic museum and the Al Muallaka church with its famous collection of icons. Afterwards, transfer to the Pyramids of Gizeh and the Sphinx. Night in the hotel in Cairo.

Day 3: Cairo

After breakfast, the program starts with the worldwide known Egyptian Museum, with its great collection of works of art. Then the Citadel with its alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. The evening, you will stroll in the famous bazaar of Khan El Khalili. Night in the hotel in Cairo.

Day 4: Cairo - St. Paul and St. Antony Monastery- El Ain El Soukhna

Journey to the desert and visit (external) of the St. Paul and St. Anthony Monasteries. Then we proceed to El Ain El Soukhna. Night in the hotel in El Ain El Soukhna.

Day 5: El Ain El Soukhna – Suez –Feiran Oasis – St. Catherine

Departure via Suez and Ahmed-Hamdi to the Sinai peninsula. Passing by Sudr Ras we continue via the Feiran oasis to St. Catherine. Night in the surroundings of the Monastery of St. Catherine.

Day 6: Mount Sinai - St. Catherine – Suez – Cairo

Very early the morning, optional excursion on the Sinai Mount (walking shoes, hot clothing and flashlight are necessary) to see the sunrise. Then visit of the St Catherine Monastery (if open). Return via the Suez canal to Cairo. Night in the hotel in Cairo.

Day 7: Departure from Cairo (*)

Transfer to the airport in Cairo and return flight.
